sooooo….. I didn’t make any new year resolutions, but I have re-promised myself to have a more creative 2009 and… to my surprise I have already taken a step forward because….. *drum sound here*…. I have made my first ever purse and with zip!…
right, it’s not perfect at all! But it’s a start, and I used the sewing machine properly learning all its bits and managed to work out sewing a zip, ahah! I was so proud of the finished article, it was quite funny…
A big thank you to U-handbag and Kushi for their lovely and easy tutorials…
… now, I have promised my mum a purse she can use as make up bag, which I am gonna post to her all the way to Africa… so better start practicing!

PS – if you are wondering what’s showing on my screen (background to photos) is the Art Fund Pavillion Competition. Deadline is 03 March 09… another step towards letting my creativity free without work constraints, yay!
